I'm Florent Tailhades, a 2D animator, illustrator, and art director based in Paris.
I’ve been a freelance since 2018 and I’ve been moving between thoughtful client work and slightly weirder (but always crafted) personal projects.
I like to be involved from the start to finish of a project: concept, design, animation, compositing.
I enjoy shaping the full picture.
I like visuals that feel honest, a little strange, sometimes emotional, often all three.
Clients include: Hermès, Chanel, Apple Music, HBO/Adult Swim, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Secours Populaire.
Studios include: Parallel, NOBL, BUCK, Brunch, Psyop, AdultSwim.
I also create personal projects at the crossroads of illustration, graphic identity, and experimentation, still or animated.
What drives me: telling stories, exploring and building conceptual and visual universes together, and crafting images that resonate as much as they intrigue.
